ISLAMABAD: State Minister for IT and Telecom Anusha Rahman has directed ICT R&D Fund Company to speed up efforts for the establishment of first state-of-the-art National Incubation Center, which is must for the capacity building of young entrepreneurs and beginners.
Chairing 45th meeting of the Board of Directors of National ICT R&D Fund Company, she described young entrepreneurs as the nation’s biggest assets, and added, “It is our obligation to provide them a national platform for practical training through appropriate measures.” “Keeping this in view, we have decided to establish a state of the art National Incubation Centre,” she added.
Syed Ismael Shah, acting CEO of the company, informed the Board that RFP for the centre had already been floated, and April 27 had been fixed as a cut-off date for the submission of bids. “Subsequently, technical and financial evaluation of received bids will be carried out and the contract will be awarded to the successful bidder after fulfilling all procedural formalities,” he explained.
