APAC stresses permanent policies for development

LAHORE: All Pakistan Anjuman Tajiran (APAC) president Ashraf Bhatti said that it is the need of hour to promote permanent policies for development of country instead of adhocism. He encouraged inclusion of stock holders for better result.

Talking to the media he said that government should provide business friendly environment for the betterment of economy .He said that competent authorities should create a strict monitoring mechanism to check the officers and staff of relevant departments. This will end the anxiety facing by traders.

He further stated that trader fraternity paid more tax than any other but they have given no importance like other countries. He said that fluctuation in policies and ad-hocism is no guarantee of progress. He suggested that by mutual consensus and permanent appointment government should make permanent policies and work on it.  Highlighting the problems facing by the traders he said that the concerned department did not contact traders to inquire about their problems. He said that instead of collecting direct and indirect taxes from traders ,they were not encouraged.
