LAHORE: All Pakistan Anjuman-e-Tajran (APAT) President Khalid Pervaiz has said that the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) should focus on tax collection form owners of luxury bungalows, vehicles and hotels.
He added that traders are paying more taxes as compared to billionaires but the government imposed withholding tax on traders. He said that due to levy of withholding tax on business community the traders are discouraged.
He said that nation’s debt has raised due to non tax payment of politicians and other authorities. He said that the FBR should adopt an easy tax system that should be understandable.
