APBUMA lauds economic policies of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif

MULTAN: The All Pakistan Bedsheet and Upholstery Manufacturers Association (APBUMA) has welcomed the newly elected Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif’s economic agenda and expressed hope that the new government will boost the textile sector and the national economy.

In a momentous announcement, Mr. Shehbaz Sharif has assumed office as the Prime Minister of Pakistan, heralding a new chapter in the nation’s economic landscape. With a firm commitment to economic revitalization, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif wasted no time in unveiling his comprehensive agenda aimed at fostering growth and prosperity.

In a significant development, Mr. Shehbaz Sharif has taken the reins as Pakistan’s new Prime Minister, ushering in a renewed sense of optimism for the country’s economic prospects. With a focus on economic revitalization, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has wasted no time in outlining his ambitious agenda to spur growth and prosperity.

Addressing the media, Syed Muhammad Aasim Shah, Chairman of the All Pakistan Bedsheet and Upholstery Manufacturers Association (APBUMA), hailed the appointment of Mr. Shehbaz Sharif and expressed confidence in his ability to steer the economy towards stability and progress. Chairman Shah commended the Prime Minister’s swift action in directing the timely disbursement of sales tax refunds, injecting approximately 65 billion rupees into the economy and instilling confidence within the revenue sector.

Underlining the crucial role of the revenue sector, particularly the textile industry, in driving economic growth, Chairman Shah emphasized the need to prioritize export promotion initiatives to address trade imbalances and strengthen the rupee. He called for the formulation of a comprehensive policy framework to tackle prevailing economic challenges and pave the way for sustainable development.

Looking ahead, Chairman Shah stressed the importance of collaboration between the government and business stakeholders to chart a course for economic prosperity. He reaffirmed APBUMA’s commitment to working closely with the government to enhance Pakistan’s export competitiveness and foster a conducive business environment.
