MULTAN: All Pakistan Clerks Association (APCA) on Wednesday has staged a protest in Multan against the government for not fulfilling their demands.
Chairman All Pakistan Clerks Association (APCA) Multan Muhammad Afzal, Central President Muneer Baloch along with other employees held a protest against the federal and provincial budget 2014-15.
Protesters led a rally from Multan Institute of Cardiology to Abdali Road while holding banners and placards which inscribed that APCA reject budget over less increment of salaries.
Participants of the rally were raising slogans against the government over less increase in salaries of government employees. The employees further chanted slogans against the Punjab government for neglecting the rights of clerks.
Protesting community stated that the government has failed to meet the needs of APCA workers and urged the authorities to enhance their salaries as early as possible.
