APCAA holds reception in honour of Member Customs Zahid Khokhar

LAHORE: All Pakistan Customs Agents Association APCAA held a reception in honour of Member Customs Muhammad Zahid Khokhar at Crystal Marquee, Punjab University.
On the occasion Collector of Customs Preventive Lahore Ch Zulfiqar Ali, Additional collection Munib Serwer, Additional Collector Nayyer Shafique,
Additional Collector Saima Aftab, Additional Collector Azmat Tahar and leadership customs agents including Muhammad Amjad Chaudhary, vice president Muhammad Arshad Jamal, Masood Butt, Agha Iftikhar, Muhammad Yasin, Raja Hassan Akhatar and others were present. APCAA vice president Muhammad Arshad Jamal welcomed the Member Customs and other customs officers.

Member customs Muhammad Zahid Khaokhar while addressing the agents said that all the impediments and hurdles in the way of smooth trade and business would be immediately removed.
Importers and exporters would be facilitated in every way because they are the backbone of the economy of the country and the sources of important revenues. He said that the doors of his office are always open for the redressal of the grievance of the stakeholders

He also stated various issues confronted by the customs agents at the dry ports of the country especially issues on delays in clearance, valuation problems and bottlenecks in appraisement of goods and articles.
He said that the Member Customs throughout his career has been very positive and resolved the issues of agents and they felt at home every time they contacted the Member Customs. He urged the Member Customs to take notice of the grievance and address them on priority basis.
