APCCIF president-elect focuses at business opportunities in UK

LONDON: VIJAYAWADA:Members of AP Chambers of Commerce and Industry Federation showed interest for business collaboration with the United Kingdom during an interactive meeting with UK Trade and Investment team of British Deputy High Commission, organised here.

The meeting, chaired by APCCIF president-elect M Murali Krishna focused on auto, air space, real estate, infrastructure among others. The issues like present trade collaborations, business opportunities for both sides and support is available for such ventures were discussed.

At present, UK’s trade with India is to the tune of Rs 15,000 crore with exports from India amounting to Rs 9,500 crore. Speaking on the occasion, British deputy high commission advisor Joseph John and regional advisor Subbu Lakshmi Subramanian said there is a huge scope for expanding the trade between the two countries.
