LAHORE: All Pakistan Goods Transport Association lauded the verdict of the Lahore High Court (LHC) whereby the court had declared the establishment of the Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) as illegal.
Secretary General Nabeel Mehmood Tariq said that this measures will decrease inflation rate in the country. He said that the government should now avoid to impose new taxes in the current fiscal year. He said that the government should decrease its own expenditure to enhance revenue. He urged the government to adopt a comprehensive strategy to achieve revenue targets set for the fiscal year 2015-16.
