Appeal against Order-in-Revision: Customs Appellate Tribunal reserves judgment

KARACHI: Special Customs Appellate Tribunal has reserved order in an appeal filed by Shaikh Enterprises against an Order-in-Revision issued by Director General of Customs Valuation.

The tribunal at Karachi was comprised of Nadeem Qureshi, Member Judicial and Muhammad Nazim, Membr Technical.

Ghulamullah Shaikh advocate representing Franklin Law Associates appearing for the appellant submitted that all date available showed the value of disputed goods at 70 Cents while the Valuation Ruling 1120 of 2017 dated 6-4-2017 issued carried a value of $1.1 per kilogram against Galvanized Iron and Steel Suspension System which is on higher side.
