NEW YORK: Apple has provided its users with a two-step authentication method for their iMessage or FaceTime accounts to provide users with tighter security, making it more difficult for people to break into those accounts even if they have the right password.

In 2014, Apple updated its desktop operating system, allowing users that own an iPad, Mac and iPhone devices, to access their iMessages and video calls across all three devices. Now Apple is taking precaution to ensure its users accounts aren’t hacked and that their personnel conversations on there remain private. The new feature is optional.
