NEW YORK: In a matter of months from now, Apple is going to launch the next-gen MacBook Pro. Unfortunately, the laptop is not going to come out with any big upgrades to offer.
Previously, many believed that the upcoming MacBook Pro is going to come out equipped with Intel Skylake. However, that is not going to happen and the MacBook Pro will run on the Broadwell chips instead.
Apple has already confirmed on this when they unveiled the MacBook Pro at WWDC. The reason is because Apple sees a need to unveil a fully functional MacBook Pro at the event but back then, Skylake is not available.
Now, Skylake has already been released but it is far too late for Apple to apply it on the MacBook Pro. This means that the laptop won’t be coming with the fastest and most energy efficient processors around.
