BEIJING: The Apple Watch is available in exclusive stores in Hong Kong, Beijing, Tokyo, and Sydney.
The Apple Watch being showcased in stores is only available to try out but not take home. Interested consumers can send pre-orders online or wait until April 24th to buy it online or by reservation at retail locations including high-end fashion boutiques in Paris, London and Tokyo.
Apple new tech gadget will enable users to check email, listen to music and make phone calls when paired with an iPhone. The watch has been criticized for relatively low battery life and slow-loading apps but its sales are widely expected to top those of Samsung, Sony and Fitbit. However, the Apple Smartwatch isn’t likely to threaten the market-share of higher end luxury watch makers.
