NEW YORK: Apple has introduced a new MacBook with technologies that cram more features into a smaller device. The company said its thinnest and lightest laptop just got skinnier.
Apple said it made the notebook computer more portable, making a device that’s easier to carry around in a world where phones and tablets have defined mobility.
The new laptop will weigh 2 pounds (900 grams) and measure 13.1 millimeters in its slimmest dimension. It will have a 12-inch display, executives said at a company event in San Francisco.
