LAHORE: Appointment of a caretaker director general of the National Accountability Bureau, Punjab, has been challenged in the Lahore High Court (LHC).
According to details, a citizen Imran Talib challenged the appointment of DG NAB Punjab though his lawyer Nadeem Sheikh. He argued in his petition that no one can work at caretaker status in NAB more than six months but DG NAB Punjab Sayed Burhan is working since the last eight months which is not according to the law.
Justice Shamas Mehmood Mirza heard the petition of the citizen in which he has requested the court to announce appointment of DG NAB Punjab as null and void.
