Appraisement East collects Rs 2726.95m in 10 days

KARACHI: The Model Customs Collectorate Appraisement East has collected Rs 2716.95 million revenue during the first 10 days of October.

According to sources, the Appraisement East collected the amount after instructions from higher authorities of the FBR to speed up the collection process.

Sources told Customs Today that Appraisement East is optimistic that it will be able to collect more revenue then expected during the remaining period of current month.

It is pertinent to mention here, that Model Customs Collectorate East collected a revenue of Rs 28.89 billion during the month of September, 2015, while Rs 108 million were collected under the head of federal excise duty.
