Appraisement East generates Rs10.16 billion during April

KARACHI: The Customs Collectorate of Appraisement East has collected Rs 10158.74   million (Rs10.16 billion) of customs duty, sales tax, income tax and federal exercise duty during the month of April 2018.

Sources told Customs Today that Appraisement East received Rs 5847 million as customs duty, Rs 2217.63 million of sales tax, Rs 2047.87 million as income tax and Rs 46.24 million of federal excise duty during April.

Earlier during first 15 days of April, the Customs Collectorate of Appraisement East has generated Rs 6633 million under the head of customs duty, sales tax, income tax and federal exercise including Rs 3452 million as customs duty, Rs 1628 million of sales tax, Rs 1447 million as income tax and Rs 16.58 million of federal excise duty .
