Appraisement East generates Rs 12.564m during nine days of October

KARACHI: Customs Collectorate of Appraisement East has generated Rs 12.564 million under the head of customs duty, sales tax, income tax and federal exercise duty during first nine days of October.

Sources told Customs Today that Customs Appraisement East collected Rs 3.23 million under the head of customs duty, Rs 4.354 million under the head of sales tax, Rs 2.2 million under the head of income tax and Rs 2.78 million as federal excise duty during first nine days of the current month.

It is necessary to mention here that the Customs Collectorate of Appraisement East generated Rs 7.978 million under the head of customs duty, sales tax, income tax and federal exercise duty during first five days of October.

Appraisement East generated Rs 31.432 million under the head of customs duty, sales tax, income tax and federal exercise duty during 30 days of September.

The Collectorate has collected Rs 10.247 million under the head of customs duty, Rs 9.249 million under the head of sales tax, Rs 2.956 million under the head of income tax and Rs 8.98 million as federal excise duty (FED).
