Appraisement-East to award contract of Queue Management System to lowest bidder

KARACHI: The Model Customs Collectorate of Appraisement-East has approved awarding of the installation of Queue Management System.

Sources within the collectorate informed Customs Today that the Sybrid (Pvt) Limited would be awarded the contract for the installation of the system because the company was the lowest bidder.

The successful company would install the complete system, including Single Counter EQMS (E-Queue Management System) that would include the audio announcing system; 11 per country additions; 11 Hard Teller Station Units and one Active Hub. The cost will also include installation of the System and provide the relevant training.

It is also learnt that a bidder has also been approved to install the telephone exchange at the collectorate.

Meanwhile, sources said that the collectorate would refloat the tenders for the purchase of computers, accessories and hardware because the bids offered by the bidders were on the high side. The tender for the purchase of furniture would also be refloated because no bid was received the last time.
