Appraisement East to observe normal working day on Sunday

KARACHI: Collectorate of Customs Appraisement and Facilitation East Deputy Collector Junaid Mehmood has issued a circular regarding observing of Sunday (23.5.2021) as normal working day.

The circular read as “in order to facilitate trade and industry and keeping in view backlog of containers, not grounded for examination purpose by the terminal operators, it is hereby directed that Sunday (i.e. 23.5.021) will be open as normal working day for examination side.

It is also directed to the terminal operators to ground the pending containers for examination and keep the operation managers along with their teams, labour and staff on duty on Sunday.
