Appraisement West collects Rs3357.65m during first week of May

KARACHI: The Customs Collectorate of Appraisement West collected Rs 3357.65 million of customs duty (CD), sales tax (ST), income tax (IT) and federal exercise duty (FED) during first week of May 2018.

Sources told Customs Today that the Appraisement West received Rs2185 million as customs duty, Rs621.85 million under the head of sales tax, Rs 541.24 million as income tax and Rs  9.56 million of federal excise duty (FED) during  first week of May.

It is necessary to mention here that Customs Collectorate of Appraisement West collected Rs 9262.64 million of customs duty, sales tax, income tax and federal exercise duty during month of April. The Collectorate received Rs 5478 million as customs duty, Rs 1987.47 million of sales tax, Rs 1758.68 million as income tax and Rs 38.49 million of federal excise duty during month of April.
