Appraisement West generates Rs 888.31m during 13 days of December

KARACHI: The Customs Collectorate of Appraisement West has generated Rs 8881.31 million customs duty, sales tax, income tax and federal exercise duty during the first 13 days of December.

Sources told Customs Today that Customs Appraisement West collected Rs 4,058.45 million customs duty, Rs 3,391.62 million sales tax, Rs 1,386.82 million under the head of income tax and Rs 44.42 million federal excise duty (FED) in the first 13 days of December.

The Customs Collectorate of Appraisement West generated Rs 21,784.34 million customs duty, sales tax, income tax and federal exercise duty during the month of November, 2017 which include Rs 9,772.91 million customs duty, Rs 8,52.06 million sales tax, Rs 3,401.21  million income tax and Rs 90.16 million federal excise duty.

It is necessary to mention here that the Customs Collectorate of Appraisement West has generated Rs 21,104.32million customs duties, sales tax, income tax and federal exercise duty during the month of October 2017, including Rs 9034.33 million as customs duty, Rs 8,530.33 million sales tax, Rs 3,434.81 million income tax and Rs 104.85million federal excise duty.

Collector of Appraisement West Shahnaz Maqbol has said we are hopeful to achieve the allocated target.
