Sources informed Customs Today that Appraisement-West Collector Muhammad Saleem after consultation with officials has directed the assistant collectors and deputy collectors to conduct hearings into review cases before 4pm.

The assistant collectors and deputy collectors after getting the instructions have displayed the schedule outside their offices regarding the hearings of review cases.

It is pertinent to mention here that the Appraisement-West collector, a few months ago, had established a proper “Queue Management System” (QMS) in order to facilitate the visitors who come for hearings.

Currently, digital screens are being displayed outside the offices of assistant collectors, deputy collectors and additional collectors on which token numbers are being displayed regarding the hearing of cases.
