Appraisement West to verify PSQCA certificates online

KARACHI: Collectorate of Customs Appraisement and Facilitation-West Additional Collector Zubair Shah has issued office order regarding verification of Pakistan Standard Quality Control Authority (PSQCA) certificate through online.

The office order read as “This is with reference to the instructions circulated vide letter bearing no: SI/Misc/FTA/02/2017-West dated 11.1.2018. It has been observed that genuineness/veracity of Pakistan Standard Quality Control Authority (PSQCA) certificates can easily be verified by scanning “QR Code” contained thereon.

It has accordingly been decided to away with the practice of referring PSQCA certificates to FTA counter for verification purpose to curtail additional steps at assessment stage.

The verification of the certificate will be done at assessing officer level by scanning “QR Code for online verification through official webside of PSQCA and shall record/certify the fact of online verification in his/her assessment remarks.”
