AQABA: Custom Department at the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) in cooperation with concerned security authorities, seized 1.5 narcotic pills that were hidden inside a vehicle near the border of a neighboring country.
ASEZA commissioners Mahmoud Khleifat said that following search and investigation, ASEZA customs agents managed to seize this huge quantity of drugs, noting that the operation was one of the biggest that were aborted by ASEZA customs.
Customs cadres he added, work relentlessly to prevent the entry or smuggling of drugs, noting that the driver was referred to concerned authorities for legal action.
