CANBERRA: Theme parks and family entertainment centres operator Ardent Leisure has made a solid start to the new financial year, with quarterly revenue up 19.3 per cent.
Ardent says group revenue rose to $165.96 million in the three months to the end of September, with its US Main Event family fun centres enjoying the strongest growth, at 30.8 per cent.
The group’s Australian theme parks, which include Dreamworld and WhiteWater World, lifted revenue 6.3 per cent, while its bowling division was up 9.1 per cent. However, earnings fell at its Goodlife health clubs business.
