BUENOS AIRES: Inflation expectations in Argentina for 2018 rose slightly to 15.8 percent, up slightly from 15.7 percent the prior month and above the central bank target range of 8 percent to 12 percent, according to the bank’s monthly poll of economists.
The survey of 54 analysts showed median inflation expectations of 22 percent for 2017, unchanged from the prior month and well above the target range of 12 percent to 17 percent. The economists maintained their median expectations for 2.8 percent growth this year and 3 percent growth in 2018.
