BUENOS AIRES: The Federal Public Incomes Administration (AFIP) has announced that it received tax revenues worth 132.52 billion pesos over the course of August , 33 percent higher than those registered for the same period last year.
AFIP president Ricardo Echegaray revealed the latest figures this afternoon during a press conference from the revenue agency’s headquarters, alongside Treasury secretary Juan Carlos Pezoa.
The data released by the body also showed that in the first eight months of 2015 the AFIP had collected just shy of one trillion pesos, with a total of $999.57 billion in revenue registered that represents a rise of 33 percent over January-August 2014.
