Armenian customs seizes largest amount of drugs ever

YEREVAN: Customs officials of Republic of Armenia have discovered largest amount of illegal drugs in the specially fitted hiding place in a truck which was en route to Georgia from Iran through the territory of Armenia.

As a result of checking the truck meant for transit trade between Iran and Georgia, 927 kg of heroin was found. Customs officials say that such a huge quantity of drugs is found in the region for the first time.
