ISLAMABAD: The people and Chinese government were deeply hurt and shocked by the massacre of innocent children carried out by terrorists at Army Public School and “China stands with Pakistan in this hour of grief and will continue to render firm support to people and government in fight the terrorism and extremism.
Chinese Ambassador Sun Weidong expressed the view at a condolence meeting held to express condolences with the families of the victims and the injured which was attended by a large number of people of Chinese.
Besides Chinese Ambassador Sun Weidong and his spouse, embassy staff and the community members, including engineers and workers working on different projects in Pakistan, attended the meeting.
They expressed sympathy and solidarity with the innocent victims of Peshawar school tragedy.
Speaking on the occasion, the ambassador said that “We have gathered here to express condolences with the families of the victims and the injured.”He said the Chinese president, prime minister and foreign minister in their messages to their Pakistani counterparts expressed the deepest condolences and sympathies with the victim families.
He, on behalf of government and people of China condemned the terrorist attack in harsh terms, saying that Pakistan people were brave enough to eliminate the terrorists.
