As petrol at Rs70.29 a liter, Sindh announces a 5-8pc slash in fares

KARACHI – As the new price of petrol is Rs70.29, which is below the price of CNG having a price of Rs71.50 per kg in Sindh and Rs76.35 in Punjab, KP and Balochistan, the Sindh Transport Ministry has announced a 5-8 percent cut in fares of inter-city buses, goods transport, rickshaw, taxis, etc.

Provincial Transport Minister Mumtaz Jakhrani said that the decision was made in view of the recent reduction of prices of petroleum products in the country.
