ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Finance, Revenue & Economic Affairs Asad Umar will preside over Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the cabinet on 15.1.2017 (tomorrow) .
During the meeting the participants will discuss agenda regarding drawback of local taxes and levies under SRO 415 (I)2015, regulatory amendment in the Export Policy Order 2016 and Import Policy Order 2016 and 300MW coal power plant at Gwadar. Submission of sponsor request from Chinese side, gas supply to power plants, while waving off guarantee fee for foreign currency loan of US$125 million taken by WAPDA from Standard Chartered Bank Ltd Consortium in 2007 will also come under discussion.
