ASF arrests drug peddler, recovers 600 grams heroin

ISLAMABAD: Airport Security Force (ASF) has foiled an attempt of heroin smuggling to Bahrain at Benazir Bhutto International Airport Islamabad and arrested an accused.

As per details, Airport Security Force (ASF) officials deputed at the Islamabad airport intercepted a passenger namely Kabil Shah Resident of Charsadda,  Khyber Pakhutunkhawa (KPK) following his dubious behaviour.

While checking his luggage, ASF authorities recovered almost 600 grams of fine quality heroin on which officials arrested him by imposing the charges of drug trafficking.

The passenger wanted to smuggle the drug to Bahrain through a private airlines Flight No. GF-771 but was held by ASF authorities.

While, the further investigations are underway in this regard.
