ISLAMABAD: Ashraf Ali Shah, a Superintendent Customs, Model Customs Collectorate, Peshawar, has been promoted to the post of Assistant Collector (BS-17) in the Pakistan Customs Service with immediate effect.
According to the notification, the officer will assume charge after issuance of the transfer/posting notification. Ashraf will be on probation for a period of one year, extendable for further period, not exceeding one year, provided that if no order is issued by the day following the termination of probationary period, the appointment will deem to be held until further order. The officer, if already drawing performance allowance equal to 100 per cent of basic pay, will continue to draw it on his promotion.
