Asif Jah Mehmood critically injured: appeal for blood

ISLAMABAD: Chief Collector Customs North Region Dr. Asif Jah Mehmood got severe injuries in a road accident on Thursday, he is in critical condition.

Sources told Customs Today that the chief collector was traveling from Islamabad to Lahore via Motorway, when he reached near Lahore four to five vehicles hit each other while all the vehicles were on speed of 80 to 90 kph.

The driver of the chief collector vehicle also got serious injuries, the sources informed Customs Today that after the accident chief collector was shifted to Mayo Hospital Lahore, the doctors informed that chief collector got injuries in his ribs and he is in critical condition. Doctors are trying best to save life of Dr. Asif Jah Mehmood.

He is in dire need of B- negative blood. His family members requested all his well wishers to pray for his speedy recovery.

The management and staff of Customs Today extended their sorrow and grief on the incident. They prayed to Almighty Allah for speedy recovery of Chief Collector North Region Dr. Asif Jah Mehmood.
