Asif takes TMO to task, flays performance of TMA

SIALKOT: Federal Minister for Water and Power and Defence Khawaja Asif, expressing dissatisfaction over the performance of Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA), has said that nobody will be allowed to waste development funds.

He said this while addressing the locals at Muslim League House. He directed the TMO to take strict action against workers who were unwilling to perform their duties.

The minister directed the TMO to take immediate steps to ensure the physical presence of workers on duty and take step for smooth flow of drains. The minister said that huge development funds were being spent on improvement of sewerage and city roads but due to poor functioning of sewerage system, the rainwater accumulated on city roads as a result of which people had to face hardships.
