LAHORE: The Model Customs Collectorate Preventive’s Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) seized contraband items worth Rs 273.49 million during the period July-January of current fiscal year 2015-2016 against confiscating items worth Rs 235.578 million during corresponding period of last year 2014-15.
According to the details, the ASO registered an increase of Rs 37.92 million as compared to the corresponding period of the last year.
The ASO smuggled/non-duty paid vehicles including Toyota Camary Car, Honda Accord Car, Toyota Coaster Coach, Toyota Vitz Car and Toyota Land Cruiser along with auto parts, cloth and other miscellanies goods during the month of January, 2016 valuing at Rs 21.652 million.
