ASO impounds a Toyota Surf worth Rs 3 million

LAHORE: Customs Anti Smuggling Organization (ASO) Lahore has impounded a Toyota Surf  vehicle worth Rs 3 million being used on fake documentation.

The ASO sources told Customs Today the Toyota Surf was seized at the Mall Road Lahore.

They added that on a tip-off the ASO team chased the Toyta Surf bearing registration No. LEE-14 /25 and stopped the car near Wapda House at Mall Road.

The ASO team demanded documentation of the vehicle from the owner named Saleem but he failed to produce the required documents.

The vehicle was seized on the instruction of Collector of Customs Mukarram Jah Ansari by ASO team consisting Superintendent Ajmal Mian, Sajad Bukhari, Saleem Akhtar and other ASO officials.
