ASO impounds Honda Civic worth Rs 1.4m from Motorways

LAHORE: Anti-Smuggling Organisation (ASO) on Wednesday impounded Honda Civic worth Rs 1.4 million, officials sources said.

The sources said that ASO impounded the Honda Civic at the Motorway coming from Islamabad to Lahore, They added that the ASO scout consisting of Inspector Sajad Bukhari and others stopped the car on the Motorway and demanded the documents from the owner of the vehicle Mr Shakeel.

The sources said that the owner, however, failed to produce any documents against the Honda Civic.

Earlier, the ASO team on the instructions of Collector of Customs Mukarram Jah seized two Mark-X and one Toyota Corolla worth more than Rs 7 million.

The vehicles were impounded on the city roads in the areas including Defence and Gullberg.
