ASO Jhang seizes 44000 liters Iranian oil,  Nissan trailer

JHANG: The Anti Smuggling Organization Jhang city has seized smuggled oil which was loaded on Nissan trailer.

Sources told Customs Today that seized Iranian diesel was filled in tanker’s four portions, the tanker was fitted on Nissan trailer. The total volume of seized smuggled Iranian oil is 44000 liters.

Sources further revealed that Assistant Collector received a credible information regarding smuggling of Iranian oil. Soon after receiving information Assistant Collector constituted a raiding party comprising Ch, Muhammad Sardar (Superintendent), Mr.Asghar Mehdi Naqvi, Mr.Shouqat Khan Mr.Mujahid Abbas (inspector),

The raiding party asked accused  Mushtaq Hussain son of  Khadim Hussain to produce legal documents regarding import of Iranian oil but he failed to produce the same). Upon his failure the raiding party seized Iranian oil alongwith Nissan trailer. The registration number of TLA-706 Quetta while its market value is Rs 7,38,4000.00.

Further investigations are in progress.
