ASO Karachi seizes foreign cigarettes, Guthka worth Rs 4,375,000

KARACHI: Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigations Anti-Smuggling Organisation Karachi in the supervision of ASO chief Haji Aslam, seized as many as 100 cartons of foreign origin cigarettes and 50 bags of Gutkha.

The cigarettes contained in 100 cartons which totals 5000 bars equal to 1000000 sticks while the Raj Babu Guthka of Nepal origin contains 237500 pouches.

The approximate market values of the seized foreign origin cigarettes and Guthka is Rs. 43,75000.

The seized the above said items immediately while further investigations are in progress till the filling of this report.
