KARACHI: Anti-smuggling Organisation (ASO) of MCC Preventive Karachi conducted a successful operation and seized smuggled goods worth Rs32.5 million.
The ASO staff seized 5 Hino mini trucks and recovered 620 assorted bags of betel nuts 45,080 kgs, contraband Indian Gutka 1400 kgs worth Rs22.9 million while the value of trucks is estimated at Rs7.5 million.
During the operation, a Toyota Premio Car also came for support of smugglers. The said car was also seized and value of the car is estimated at Rs2 million. Total value of seized goods along with vehicles is estimated at Rs32.4 million.
