ASO Sargodha seizes Toyota Crown car

SARGODHA: The Anti-Smuggling Organisation seized foreign origin used Toyota Crown car near Jail Road, Sargodha.

According to details Assistant Collector ASO Sargodha Umer Bin Zafar Chttha received a credible information regarding above said smuggled vehicle. Soon after receiving information ASO Sargodha forms a raiding team comprising Mr. Bashir Ahmed, Mr. Muhammad Mansha, Mr. Ansir Saleem (inspector), Rana Muhammad Ashrif, Muhammad Ameen Shafqat, Mehmood Muhammad Feroz, Muhammad Mansha (sepoys).

The raiding team intercepted the vehicle bearing registration No/ AC-6540, chassis No. MS 122-010273, model 1084. Market value of the car is Rs 15,00,000 involved customs duty and taxes of Rs 10,90,000/. Customs team asked owner of the car who was identified as Amir Iqbal son of Muhammad Iqbal who is resident of House No. 2, Jaferia Colony Old Civil Lines, Sargodha to produce legal documents of the vehicles, but he failed to provide the same documents to the party.

Upon his value the Customs party seized the vehicle while registering a case against the owner of the car. Further proceedings are underway till the filing of this report.
