ASO section shifted from Customs House

LAHORE: The Model Customs Collectorate Preventive’s Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) has been shifted to the customs State warehouse Shah Noor Studio at the Multan Road.

The ASO inspectors will conduct and initiate their anti-smuggling operation from the state where house.

Officials however, told Customs Today that ASO Superintendent Mumtaz Ajmal Mian and a few clerical staff will remain working at the Customs House Nabha Road.

They said that the inspectors, however, will attend emergent meetings at the Customs House and the superintendent will operate them from the House.

They said that the ASO has been shifted from the Customs House to accommodate officers of the Customs Service of other the services organs like Post clearances audit, internal audit, valuation and adjudication.
