ASO seizes counterfeit items worth Rs12.92m during first 15 day of January

ISLAMABAD: Anti Smuggling Organization (ASO) collected revenue Rs12.92 million during first 15 day of January by seizing eight offending vehicles and various type of smuggled goods.

Sources told Customs Today that ASO Islamabad collected Rs7.3 million to seized eight offending vehicles adding that, during above said period the ASO collected revenue Rs0.168 million of smuggled miscellaneous goods, Rs.0.16 million to seized smuggled food grain.

During said period the ASO collected Rs0.15 million to seized smuggled auto parts as for as the ASO collected Rs0.05 to seized smuggled blankets the sources adding that during said period the ASO collected revenue Rs.1.3 million to seized smuggled black tea.

Sources added that during above said period the ASO collected revenue Rs0.78 million to seized smuggled tires as for as ASO collected Rs0.18 millions to seized smuggled electronic items. ASO collected Rs2.47 millions to seized smuggled foreign origin various kinds of fabric and ASO Islamabad also collected revenue Rs0.04 million to seized smuggled carpets.
