ASO seizes seven non-custom paid vehicles worth six million rupees

MULTAN: The Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) has impounded seven vehicles from various parts of the region due to nonpayment of custom duty.

One of the imported Suzuki Sierra Jeep was seized with the joint operation of the Balochistan Military Police and ASO in Taunsa Sharif area. The registration number of the Suzuki Sierra was APL-14 with the model year 1993. The worth of car is almost one million rupees.

Four vehicles were seized from the adjourning area of Sher Shah Tool Plaza. The four seized vehicles from the Sher Shah Tool Plaza were Mazda Truck with registration number SLC-9203, two Toyota Hiace vans with registration numbers of ML J-3155 and DGJ-1214 and one Toyota Vitz with registration number LEC-8219 and Model 2013.

One Hino Truck was also impounded from Dera Ghazi Khan having registration number TKA-246. The worth of total seized vehicles was almost 6 Million Rupees in the two days action.

Deputy Collector ASO Faizan Badar has directed for strict monitoring at check points to tackle smuggling of non custom paid vehicles in the region.
