ASO seizes smuggled items worth Rs 1 million

HYDERABAD: Anti Smuggling Organization (ASO) Hyderabad, seized imported cloths, tea, and shampoo cartons in a raid worth Rs 1 million .

Sources told Customs Today, that the ASO seized different quantity of the smuggled cloths including black tea and exported shampoo from a bus coach from Peshawar to Karachi.

The sources further told that Model Customs Collectorate( MCC) Hyderabad Dr Ahmed Mujtaba Memon directed to ASO to conduct raids under the supervision of additional collector Omar Shafiqe .

The ASO intercepted a bus named  jida coach service bearing registration NO- Z 6961 near national high way by pass Hyderabad, ASO confiscated the  smuggled contents, including  155 kilograms black tea in pp bags, 35 exported roll of silk cloth measuring over 1500 yard and 115 cartons of exported shampoo  Worth of Rs 1 million smuggled from Peshawar to Karachi.

The comprised upon Shafi Muhammad, Jamali Sepoys isa  .Ali Saier and driver Nisar Ahmdani.
