LONDON: Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate takes place in Victorian-era London, “during the height of the Industrial Revolution”, the publisher said. “During this time, the gap between the poor and the rich expands exponentially, making workers’ lives little more than legalised slavery. The lower classes fight for survival by forming a new kind of family gangs and adapting to life in the underworld.”
Syndicate stars twin Assassins Jacob and Evie Frye, with the duo running amok in the “largest, most modern open-world city” in an Assassin’s Creed title yet.
Other gameplay features include an emphasis on brawling (with brass knuckles being available), gang wars, a rope launcher for scaling buildings and the ability to ride horse-drawn carriages.
