Assistant Collector Asfand Yar Khan assumes charge at Sialkot station

SIALKOT: Assistant Collector Asfand Yar Khan assumed his new charge on Wednesday. He was transferred from Karachi West Appraisement. As an assistant collector this is his first posting.

According to details, Asfand’s predecessor Assistant Collector Choudhary Fahad Bashir has been transferred as Assistant Collector at Karachi East Appraisement.

As an Assistant Collector, Asfand Yar Khan will look after import and rebate matters as well as the customs related matters of Sialkot Dry Port Trust (SDPT) and Sialkot International Airport Limited (SIAL). He is also authorized to arrange workshops, seminars and other customs department related matters.

While talking to Customs Today Assistant Collector Asfand Yar Khan said that, as the products of Sialkot are well known around the globe, he is optimistic about increase in exports and imports and add up a handsome amount of revenue by the Sialkot Customs. He also said that he will fulfill his assigned duties tirelessly.
