Assistant Collector Fahad visits Sialkot airport during Eid holidays

SIALKOT: Assistant Collector Customs Fahad Bashir Chaudhary and his subordinate staff visited Sialkot International Airport Limited (SIAL) during Eid holidays.

Sources told that Assistant Collector reviewed the duty and work of customs employees deployed at the airport during Eid holidays.  Sources said that the assistant collector met the passengers and asked them about any complaint against the customs employees but no passenger expressed any complaint. The assistant collector also met with customs employees who were performing their duties at the airport and appreciated the work and performance of all employees at airport during Eid holidays.

Sources said that Assistant Collector also directed all customs employees deputed at airport to check luggage carried by passengers also detect money laundering and smuggling of narcotics because money laundering and smuggling of narcotics are effecting national eonomy. Sources told no unpleasant incident was occurred during Eid holidays as the customs employees were punctual and were very cooperative during holidays and they checked all luggage thoroughly whereas all passengers were satisfied by the best performance of customs employees.
