Assistant Director, Sub-Engineer Wasa suspended

FAISALABAD: Assistant Director Construction and Sub-Engineer of Water and Sanitation Agency (Wasa) have been suspended on charge of negligence and delinquency.

A spokesman of the Wasa said here Friday that Managing Director (MD) Wasa Faqeer Muhammad Chaudhary along with MPA Mian Tahir Jameel visited Zulfiqar Colony and found newly laid 27 inches diameter sewerage line damaged by rainwater and proper compaction was not made around it. Taking serious notice, MD Wasa immediately suspended Assistant Director Construction Zafar Randhawa and Sub Engineer Khurram and further departmental action against them is under progress.
